Beautiful Bird's Eye Maple Bow Fronted Art Deco C.1920 Turnidge of London Cocktail Cabinet
and
Rare Bonzer Regd. Model A Chrome Plated Cherry/ Lemon/Condiment/Olive Dispenser & Cocktail Stick Holder.
In good vintage condition.
(You push the top down which pushes the covers open)The glass bowls are made in France by Duralex
Height 22.8cm Width 25.8cm Depth 12.3cm with dishes in
Whilst clearing out, we found a few other bits, a bottle opener and corkscrew in the "Atomic" style and a cocktail stirrer.
The cabinet has been in my family since new and the cherry dispenser has always been with it, in my lifetime. Unfortunately it just doesn't go with my house anymore and it's time to let it go.
It has a charming fall front opening mechanism, you pull the handle down which also rises the lid to reveal a lit, mirrored, Formica lined cocktail preparation area, as you can see the light and indeed everything else works perfectly. Attached to the lid are holders for six Atomic headed cocktail sticks and a chrome lemon squeezer.
The lovely bow fronted doors still have the original key, the lock can be a touch temperamental but that is the only flaw I am aware of and they open to reveal 2 shelves and plenty of storage for bottles of Geneva etc.
The Bird's eye Maple case is exquisite and flawless, this is an amazing piece of usable antique furniture.
It's 38'', 96cm tall, 25'', 63cm wide and 16'', 40cm deep.
