What do I do if I am receiving phone calls regarding an ad that I have nothing to do with?

What do I do if I have been the victim of an online scam?
If you are unlucky enough to have fallen victim to a scam on Wightbay then don’t hesitate to get in touch. We can take a look at it for you and can then offer you some advice on how to proceed. We can also use any information you have for us to help prevent any other Wightbay users from being scammed in a similar manner. If you have been the victim of fraud, then we strongly suggest that you also contact the police.
What do I do if I have been sent the password for my account, even though I haven’t requested it?
All that has happened here is that someone has attempted to request the password for their ad, and most likely mistyped their ad reference entering yours instead. You have nothing to worry about though, as your password is still safe. We will only email the password to the contact email given when the ad was set up.
