I cannot log in?
wightbay.com has recently been re-installed due to the fact that the database became corrupted and very slow. Since this installation required and upgrade to a SQL database information from the old database could not be transferred. If you were registered before the 29th January 2007 and have not logged in since then:
You will have to:
1) Re-register and re-upload your adverts (if you were registered prior to the 29th January 2007.)
1a) The telephone number you use at registration will be the tel no that appears on your adverts.
I still cannot log in? -
This occurs for a small minority of users who have incorrect "Cookie"
settings within Internet Explorer,
How to solve:- it's easy!
1. Go to "Tools" on the Internet Explorer Toolbar located at the top of your browser
2. Select Internet Options
3. Select the "Privacy" Tab
4. Within the Privacy Tab select the "Advanced Button"
5. Once in Advanced ensure BOTH of these boxes are ticked:-
"Always Allow Session Cookies"
"Override Automatic Cookie Handling"
6. Click OK to close popup window
7. Click OK to close Internet Options and Exit.
You should now be able to login with no problem...
It's still not working?
Reason: You have without question entered an incorrect Username, Password or email address
Solution: After you have followed the steps above (1-7) please complete this form with your Username, Password and email address so we can check your original registration details.
